2022 In Review: 16 New Investments, 11 States, 3 Countries

Last year, we saw nearly 3,000 companies and had 1550 formal applications (up 25% from 2021) through Wendal (our proprietary AI platform). Wendal acts as our initial analyst and automatically feeds us companies that fit our model and we are likely to write checks to.

Out of the 1,550 applications we ended up investing in 16 companies (1%). The 14 companies came from 11 different states and 3 countries (US, Mexico, and Canada). We also made 11 follow-on investments into existing portfolio companies.
